Additional ACOG Research

Improving Ob-Gyn Immunization Services for Comprehensive Women's Health Care

The College received a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (grant number 5 U66 IP 0001 18-03) to create and implement immunization trainings for ob-gyns in ACOG's District V (Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan). The goals of the project were:

• Create and expand ob-gyn practice-based immunization programs
• Increase the types and doses of immunization provided in ob-gyn practices
• Create a sustainable partnership between ob-gyn practices and each of the four participating state health departments' (SHD) immunization programs that would be able to provide resources after the conclusion of the project.
