International Educational Affiliate Requirements

An international educational affiliate is any physician who resides in a country outside the geographic limits* of ACOG and is ineligible for any other membership category. International educational affiliates have direct access to our website and can purchase ACOG materials and attend the Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting at the reduced member's rate. They will not receive mailings or publications from ACOG.

Countries ineligible for this category of membership include: American Samoa,  Anguilla, Antigua, Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Isle, Canada, Cayman, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guam, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Marshall Islands, Mexico, Nicaragua, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and Grenadine, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, United States, United States Minor, and Virgin Islands.

Associate Member International

Physicians outside the geographic confines of the College who have given valuable service in obstetrics and/or gynecology and who is not eligible to be a Fellow or Junior Fellow may apply to be an associate member international.

Requirements

  • Evidence of advanced training in women's health
  • Membership in an obstetrics and gynecology society or an organization recognized by the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics
  • A certified English translation is required if documents in a language other than English. 

This category is open only to obstetrician–gynecologists who reside in countries outside the geographic confines of ACOG.
